Believe it or not, baseball Hall of Fame Ted Williams is one of the inspirations of billionaire Warren Buffett.  In his study of hitting a baseball, Williams broke down the strike zone into 77 spots – then, analyzed where the “sweet spots” were that would give him a greater probability of getting a hit.  Buffett decided to do the same to determine where his financial “sweet spots” were.
